Fifth Theory Leadership Team

Eric Hutchison, MBA, is the Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing at FifthTheory, LLC. His past positions included serving as the Vice President of Strategic Business Development of the Human Capital Risk Management Group at General Dynamics IT. Eric has also held strategic leadership roles managing the operations, customer service and program management teams. As part of the Leadership Team, he has served as a key industry thought leader, engaging in strategic support for customers, and developing new client and partner relationships.

For over 26 years, Eric has worked directly with Fortune 500 organizations in all major industries, to help them implement technology-driven Talent & Risk Assessment solutions optimized to achieve their goals. In addition, Eric has implemented and managed many strategic initiatives during his tenure, including the launch of a background check division, and an applicant tracking solution. He has worked closely with client executives in Human Resources, Loss Prevention/Asset Protection, Talent Management, Recruitment and Operations. This diverse background allows Eric to provide significant insight for clients based on thousands of first-hand engagements.

Eric attended Eastern Michigan University with a degree in Psychology, where he was also a member of the Men’s Swimming & Diving Team. He completed his MBA program at Kennesaw State University’s Coles College of Business.
